Lawnscaping Challenge #97

I am taking part in the Lawn Fawn Lawnscaping Challenge, its the first time I've participated.  Of course when my package arrived, I couldn't wait to put them to use.

For my Card I took inspiration from the Mood Board

I used the Fun Circle Dies from My Creative Time to cut a circle out.  I then used the Stitched Hillside Borders from Lawn Fawn to create my snow.  I colored in the Fox and Cardinal using my copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies from the Joy to the Woods set from Lawn Fawn. I also stamped the snowflake from the Joy to the Woods in the Hero arts Unicorn White ink.  The sentiment is from Up and Away by Mama Elephant.  I finished by applying some sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Designer Challenge

Its time again for another challenge over at My Creative Time, the challenge is to either use the sketch, color combo, or both to create something.

So I decided to take alittle bit of both to create my card. I used some sketch elements and some color combos.  Here is what I created:

I took the large frame from the Mama Elephant Peek A Frames and cut out a rectangle from the Doodlebug 6x6 paper pad called Ghouls and Goodies and another retangle from velum.  I heat embossed BOO from the My Creative Time set, Treats For My Sweet.

I then used my cuttlebug to die cut the ghost from the My Creative Time Stitched Spooky Ghost Dies. I added alittle color to him using C1 and C00 copics.  I then placed him behind the velum.

Next I die cut the Panda from the Mama Elephant set, Pandamonium.  I added little color using R20, C1 and C00.  I added the witches hat, die cut from the My Creative Time Classy GirlAccessories set.

I fussy cut and colored the pumpkin from the My Creative Time set, Treats For My Sweet.  As well as the spider stamped using Stays On Black Ink.

Finally I anchored the panda and pumpkin using the Paper Smooches set, Shadows.  I added some doodlebug sprinkles and that completed my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

I am also entering this into the Mama Elephant October Challenge: Anything Goes

My Creative Time Designer Challenge -- Photo Inspiration

Another challenge is taking place over at My Creative Time for me.com  The challenge is another photo inspiration taken from this photo

You can either use the picture to gain inspiration, the color scheme or you can use both.  I decided to use alittle of both.

I decided to make a shaker card.  I have never done one of these before but have watched countless youtube tutorials and see many blog posts.

I took the smaller jar from the Stitched Chunky Jar Dies and die cut it using my cuttlebug into some Kraft Cardstock from Paper Trey Ink.  I then used some clear cardstock for my window.  The lid of the jar was cut using some silver cardstock and I inked it with Fog Ink from Mama Elephant and used some clear wink of stella.

I anchored the jar using a stamp from Shadows by Paper Smooches with some momento tuxedo black ink

Inside the jar I used some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  The colors are 4mm Sparkling Clear, Lemon Drop, and Marigold

I then took some green cardstock and die cut my Hello from the Lowercase Fun Dies and the Uppercase Fun Dies

Lastly I added a couple butterflies from the Chunky Jar Accessories Stamps and Dies

I hope you enjoy seeing what I had to create and please head over to the My Creative Time For Me blog to see what others have created and to also play along.

Anniversary Card

My 8th Wedding Anniversary is tomorrow (July 22) and so I decided to make this card for my husband.  We met when it was in Iraq 10yrs ago.  We started emailing each other and met in the airport after he returned from his first tour.  He has since been on 4 other tours of duty and continues to be active duty Marines, going on 12yrs of service.

Here is the inside of my card.  Since we met on the computer and learning the lingo, I just thought it was cute to add.

The supplies I used:
Lawn Fawn #awesome
Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins
Ranger Platinum Embossing Powder
DCWV Burlap 6x6 Paper Stack
Vellum
PTI Kraft Card Stock

MCT: Designer Challenge, Sketch and/or Color Combo

It is time for another challenge over at My Creative Time for me.  The challenge is to used either a sketch provided or the color combo or you could use both.  The sketch is of a boat on the water.  Truth be told I don't own anything maritime related so I chose the color combo for my card.

I used the stamp set, Birthday Buddies, and colored the owl, branch, and balloons with prisma colored pencils.  I then used Wink of Stella, clear, and glossy accents on my balloons.

The grid die is from Simon Says Stamps and the papers are from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by.

*I got the grid idea with the papers behind it from a youtube video made by Nichol Magouirk
